The john lewis haberdashery neatly tucked away in its own magical corner truly has a bunch of eclectic sewing, knitting and a whole manner of other project goodies. It is a little pricey in some areas, but the quality and the look of what you get i feel is worth it! I feel a sewing splurge coming on!

Designer Haberdashery?
Fashion Addiction..
When i was in cardiff nosing at the new shopping complex, immediately i was drawn to the new All Saints store, its fantastic!!! I mean any store that has about 70 vintage singer sewing machines for a window display, is no doubt the store for me. I seriously wanted everything in that store.
I am DEFINETLY returning for the skull vest in the first photograph, it is just what i have been looking for.

health kick..
After getting a car for christmas, it has become very apparent that my exercise level has hit an all time low. Sadly i think this may have taken a toll on my confidence, as i seem to be much more aware of the things i wear, and i am far less daring and adventurous as i dream to be, besides no one wants to see a fashionista with lumps under her garments, or bulging at the seams.
I am so determined to get this year started with a bang, that if loosing those extra pounds will help, then so be it.
The past week i have introduced challenging exercise into my routine, and i will keep you posted on the results, and the posts will become more regular.
At the moment i have three projects ongoing (to blog about) and also three non diy posts that have been photographed and are just awaiting being typed up. I would have done it today, but my parents have been trying to help my goals by joining me, and when they suggested a 15 mile cycle today, i couldn't really say no for risk of giving up the challenge. I would stay up until late doing it tonight, but i have a crazy day ahead in work tomorrow, but dont worry they'll be up soon enough.
One of the major benefits of exercise though, is getting to cycle to beautiful views like this.
Anyways i must jet off to the land of nod, however, ill be back real soon!!

street anatomy..
Well part of the problem of applying to two different college/universities, is two separate projects. So sadly for me it means twice the work, but im happy to put in the effort so its fine :)
This is just a quicky post as I have to leave the house in five minutes, but i had to share the awesomeness of these shoes.
One of my projects is the human form, and whilst doing some of my initial research i came across these bad boys, HOW AMAZING..

They are absolutely fantastic, i have already started dreaming ways to make them, and also planning different spinal inspired pieces, i have a very strong feeling that this will be the focus of my ceramics and 3D aspect of my course.
Any ways i have been collecting photos and research and photos and it will be posted soon enough, im sorry the posts are so few and far between, thats changing asap i promise (well as soon as the bfs rooms painted)
Anyways with a bit of luck i will be posting again late tonight, but for now...

sorry sorry sorry..
Sorry that the posts have been so far and few between, the first three days of the week were a combination of meals and celebrating (the end of exams), whilst the other two, were a combination of birthdays and decorating rooms.
I sadly only managed to do the one post, and even though tomorrow i am headed off to oakwood park for my sisters birthday, i took no overtime with work meaning i can dedicate ALL WEEK to the blog. Well that minus tuesday (awards ceremony) which i will be sure to post about afterwards :)
Already started making a mint green skirt for the occasion, one im sure you will love :)
